Program Objective

Our growing and aging population means that the demand is increasing for qualified professionals. A very rewarding career for compassionate and caring individuals.

Comprehensive class-room training and 14 weeks of practical, hands-on experience prepares you very well for the NACC exam.

You will develop the skills necessary to contribute to the quality of life of individuals who live in facilities and at home by promoting their independence; dignity; safety; social, emotional and physical well-being.

Earn your diploma to enter a profession for which the Ontario government has committed to spending $107 million by 2011 toward hiring 2,500 more personal support workers in long-term care homes.

This program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and work experience to become permanently employable.
